“As a distributor, working with ALVIC is the perfect formula for us. With ALVIC we have the best technologies available, the biggest range in the market, and the newest trends.” said Miquel Rifa, Managing Director of Lioher, one of the companies distributors
In response to continued growth in North America, ALVIC opened its newest facility in 2018 located between Orlando and Tampa, in Central Florida. The nearly 323,000 sq.ft. manufacturing plant boasts top-of-the-line machinery to maximize output rates and product precision. Like its international counterparts, the company uses the same patented technology they have specialized in for more than 50 years to offer over 200 colors and texture combinations.
After opening the new plant in the U.S. last year, ALVIC launched the first phase of production which includes the manufacturing of the company’s Syncron boards line. More recently, the company has been working on phase two production, to include their Luxe high gloss and Zenit super matte boards. Completion of this project is expected by year-end.
“This new facility plays an important role in growing our presence in the North American market as our commitment to our customers goes hand-in-hand with the continued increase in demand for our products,” said Omar Gonzalez, ALVIC’s US and Canada Sales Director.
Along with the product line development within the manufacturing plant, ALVIC is planning to open its first showroom in the U.S. later this year in Central Florida, nearby the production facility. At the showroom, designers and architects will be able to view all of ALVIC’s innovations on-site. The space will also feature areas for client meetings and project collaborations.
ALVIC remains focused on research and development in a strategic effort to build on its decades of industrial and functional innovative design. Its U.S. growth will serve as the cornerstone for the company to continue delivering high-end surface panels, finished door and cabinet components, ready-to-assemble custom-sized furniture, and finished products through partner-distributors, DIY retailers, and manufacturers.
ALVIC Displays its Expansive Selection of Products and Applications at AWFS 2019
In July, ALVIC displayed its expansive selection of products and applications in an eye-catching and original booth at the Association of Wood Working & Furnishing Suppliers Fair (AWFS).
For its fourth year in attendance, ALVIC brought a fresh new look to the market with its booth design playing on shapes and color contrasts in high gloss, matte and other textures. ALVIC’s booth highlighted two of its most recently launched products, Luxe Plus and Zénit Plus. Luxe Plus is a surface with an excellent degree of brightness and reflection, boasting a barrier effect against environmental humidity, high abrasion resistance and an ecological production process. Zénit Plus, is a new anti-fingerprint, super-matte surface.
“ALVIC is different in all the best ways. They are the undisputed global leader in lacquer technology,” said Tyler Sharpe, Product Manager at Richelieu, one of the company’s top customers. “Not only is it the most consistent product we have come across for high gloss and super matte, but its scratch resistance is unmatchable, and we always have a lot of confidence bringing it to our customer base.”
With its immersive experience and unique look, the ALVIC booth drew in approximately 1,500 attendees from a wide range of specialties including architects, designers, millwork companies, cabinet shops, distributors, contractors, and sales reps.
